Buskers! I LOVE BUSKERS!
First of all – thank you dear Buskers out there! You’ve given me countless hours of bliss already. And still counting.
When having spent ten years of my life in beautiful Wellington, I learned that in very many cases the buskers out there delivered their gig in such excellent quality that you would never assume… literally on the street. And for free (if you must).
There is no greater under-appreciation than for those geniuses out there giving out their art for us.
Thanks to all of them – and also to Andreas Geffarth (who might not even be a busker) for sharing your excellent art with us!!

Andreas Geffarth — The Storyteller’s Guitar
Andreas Geffarth is a German singer, guitarist, and songwriter whose heart lives in the space between confession and melody. He works both as a live and studio musician, releasing music videos weekly through his YouTube channel and performing across regional venues.
In his catalog you find albums like A Couple Of Songs I Wish I Had Written Myself, as well as Appetizers and The Way Back Home, which mix originals with carefully chosen covers. On streaming platforms his top tracks include “Winter (feat. Shir-Ran Yinon)”, Wonderful Tonight, Burn for You, and Stairway to Heaven.
What stands out is how he blends emotional vulnerability with musical craftsmanship. His voice doesn’t dominate — it reaches. His arrangements are never overstuffed, but they linger. In concert he’s at his best: guitar in hand, stories unfolding between songs, sometimes peeling back the polish to leave you in raw spaces.
He also leans into reinterpretation: Geffarth has covered classics like Stairway to Heaven, You Are My Sunshine, and The Water Is Wide, letting his own sensitivity color familiar tunes.
In short: Andreas Geffarth writes songs you want to lean into — not shout over.
